The Context
The Global Landscapes Forum is the world's largest knowledge-led platform on integrated land use, connecting 200,000 people across 185 countries through conferences, digital summits and research. Their events bring together scientists, Indigenous leaders, policymakers, youth and investors to work on climate, biodiversity and restoration at a planetary scale. Since 2024, WCI has been an ongoing creative partner, providing graphic facilitation and illustration across their major gatherings.
The Approach
The main challenge for GLF events is compression, as they feature multiple speakers, perspectives and languages while dealing with complex topics. Our work is to listen in real time and translate that density into a visual piece that is easier to understand and relate with.
The Impact
The illustrations have become a core part of how GLF communicates its events, published as infographics on their platform and shared across their global network. At GLF Climate 2025, held alongside COP30 in Belem, the Vision Wall captured the insights of a gathering that drew over 10,000 participants from 178 countries.
