The Context

Solvable facilitates processes for organizations and teams navigating deep adaptation, working across disruption, dismantling, resilience, and culture change. WCI's creative director is a partner at Solvable, which means this project sits closer to home than most. As the practice evolved from its original identity into systems change work, the brand needed to evolve with it.

The Approach

The visual language is built around the idea of thresholds. Portals recur throughout the system, signaling the adjacent possible, the space between what is and what could be. The visual work pairs grounded, documentary human moments with surreal shifts in scale and perspective, holding what's happening on the surface alongside what's operating underneath. The palette mixes deep institutional tones with bright activation colors. The overall feel is simultaneously analytic and emotional: rigorous enough to sit in institutional spaces, visceral enough to invite movement.

The Impact

The rebrand now carries across Solvable's full presence: website, event materials, publications, workshops, and the New Works conversation series. It provides the visual foundation for a practice that continues to evolve as it works with organizations on the hardest questions of institutional change.
